Problems, Challenges & Solutions

What is the problem / for which the product or service is a solution

Globally, 1.9 trillion metric ton of sugarcane is grown annually. After crushing sugarcane to produce sugar, estimated 871 million mt biomass (bagasse, tops and leaves) is generated annually. Most of this bagasse is burned to generate electricity. About 2.41 mt of wet bagasse at 50% moisture produces 1 mt of dry bagasse. 1 mt of dry bagasse when burned generates $ 4 5 in electricity value. Additionally, it generates large amount of CO2 (greenhouse gas) causing global warming.

While same 1 mt dry bagasse processed in our Biomass Refinery will generates total chemical value of $ 1 , 375. It has negative CO2 foot print. It generates better income for farmers growing sugarcane. It generates rural employment. It produces transportation fuel (ethanol) which reduces import thus saving hard currency for the government. It generates hard currency by exporting Xylitol (natural sugar sweetener) for the government

Thus, our Biomass Refineries literally saves $ 1.75 billion daily from going in to the smoke when fully implemented globally. Therefore, burning the bagasse to generate heat or electricity is not a good option and should be stopped

What are the challenges and roadblocks being faced?

Once we have our first commercial plant running, I see practically no road blocks. Contrary, we will be invited by the governments of various countries for the investment with offering of the special incentives to us.
